How can I add arrival instructions?
Providing clear arrival instructions ensures that your guests have a smooth check-in experience. You can set up and update the Arrival Information in your Holidu account by following these steps:
How to Update Contact Details and Arrival Information
- Log in to your Holidu Hosts account and select your property.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Configuration.
- Scroll down and select Arrival Information.
- In the Contact Information section, click Edit to update the details of the person responsible for check-in (name, phone number, and email).
- In the Arrival Information section, click Edit to add or update details such as:
- Key collection
- How to get to the property
- Once you’ve entered the information, click Save.
Automatic Translations
- You can use the Translate to all languages button to automatically translate your instructions into all available languages.
- Before translating, make sure the text in the original language is correct and final, to avoid replicating errors in all translations.
- You can also review or edit each individual language version (e.g., English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.).
Important Notes
- The information you add in the Arrival Information section (contact details, key collection instructions, and directions) is automatically sent to your guests after they confirm a booking.
- If the guest’s language is available, they will automatically receive the translated version.
- If you update the arrival details after bookings have already been made, you must inform those guests personally about the changes.
