Boost Your Bookings with Discounts and Short Stays

Discounts and flexible stay options are powerful tools to increase your visibility, attract more guests, and fill gaps in your calendar. In Holidu, you can find them under Configuration → Discounts.

Why offer discounts and short stays?

• Discounts: Offering discounts can be a strong way to attract potential guests. Discounts can be used, for example, to fill calendar gaps or encourage bookings during low-demand periods.
• Short Stays: Allowing shorter stays can help boost your occupancy rate. They appeal to travellers looking for quick getaways or those passing through the city.

How to set up Discounts and Flexible Stays

Log in to your Holidu Host account and go to Configuration → Discounts. Here you will find two main sections:

1. Attract more guests with discounts – options include:

1. New Listing Discount – automatically applied to the first 3 bookings of a new property.
2. Mobile User Discount – to attract guests booking from mobile devices.
3. Loyalty Discount – a fixed 10% for frequent travellers.
4. Early Bird Discount – for guests who book in advance (you can choose the lead time).
5. Last-Minute Discount – to fill availability with short-notice bookings.
6. Weekly Discount – rewards longer stays (7 nights or more).

Note: Early bird and last-minute discounts are “dynamic” and adjust automatically based on booking dates.

2. Get more bookings with flexible stay options – options include:

• Flexible Stays – fill calendar gaps with short stays at adjusted prices.
• Short Stays – allow bookings for fewer nights than the standard minimum while keeping your earnings intact.
• Last-Minute Minimum Stay – automatically reduces the minimum stay requirement when the check-in date is approaching.

Select Configure, adjust your parameters, and click Activate to save.

By combining discounts and flexible stay conditions, you’ll make your property more competitive, increase occupancy, and attract a wider audience.
