How to Update Your Cancellation Policy
- Log in to your Holidu Host account
Visit https://host.holidu.com/app/ or use the Holidu Host app and log in with your credentials. - Select your property
Click “Properties” and choose the listing you want to update. - Go to Configuration
In the left-hand menu, click “Configuration.” - Scroll to Cancellation Policies
Find the “Cancellation Policies” section and click on it. - Select your preferred policy
Pick the booking platform where you want to update the policy, then choose the option that best fits your property. - Save your changes
Click “Save” to finalize your updated policy.
Important Notes:
- Changes apply only to future bookings. Existing reservations will not be affected.
- To boost bookings, consider choosing a more flexible policy or allowing guests to select a non-refundable option (available for Airbnb and Holidu).

- Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before check-in
- Moderate 5 Days: Full refund up to 5 days
- Moderate 14 Days: Full refund up to 14 days
- Firm: Full refund up to 30 days

- Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before check-in
- Moderate: Full refund up to 5 days
- Firm & Strict: Partial refund depending on timing
- Super Strict 30 Days: 50% refund 30+ days before check-in
Starting October 1, 2025, guests can cancel for free within 24 hours of booking if the booking is made at least 7 days before check-in. This applies to all reservations, no matter which cancellation policy you choose.

- Flexible: Full refund 1 day before check-in
- Moderate 5/14 Days: Full refund up to 5 or 14 days
- Firm: Full refund up to 30 days
- Strict: 50% refund anytime
