Agia Pelagia is a charming seaside village on the northern coast of Kythira, offering a peaceful atmosphere and an authentic island experience. Just 17 km (about 20 minutes) from the airport, 27 km (30 minutes) from the ferry port of Diakofti, and 25 km from Chora, it is a relaxing and well-connected base for exploring the island.
Right in front of the village lies the long sandy beach of Agia Pelagia, only 200m from the property - perfect for swimming and seaside dining. Restaurants and cafés are just 200m away, while a supermarket is within 250m walking distance.
Nearby beaches include Fyri Ammos (2.1 km) with its striking red sand, Lorentzo Beach (2.1 km), Lagada Beach (about 2 km, Blue Flag certified), and Kakia Lagada (approx. 2.8–5 km), set at the mouth of a dramatic gorge ideal for hiking. For quieter escapes, visit Fournoi Beach and Platia Ammos Beach (both 8.5 km away), or Lykodimou Beach (14.5 km).
The impressive Moudari Lighthouse (16.5 km) offers breathtaking sunset views, while the lush Amir Ali Springs (5.2 km) provide a refreshing natural retreat.
