Enjoy a peaceful and authentic getaway in the heart of Périgord, in Manzac sur Vern, on a preserved 5-hectare natural property. "La Bergerie" is an independent gite designed for a comfortable stay, ideal for recharging in Dordogne as a couple or with family.
Set in a former character farmhouse, this gite for 4 guests charms with its warm atmosphere, open views of the Périgord countryside, and premium amenities.
The accommodation features an air-conditioned bedroom with a 160 cm electric bed (made on arrival), a cozy living room with two sofas including a sofa bed, a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and wall-mounted hair dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen suited for both short and long stays.
The gite operates on self-generated energy. Outside, enjoy a private pool reserved exclusively for guests, secured by an alarm, a private enclosed garden with outdoor seating and plancha, a solar shower, and stunning panoramic views.
Pets are welcome under certain conditions. Depending on the season, you can enjoy complimentary vegetables from the garden and fresh eggs for a truly local experience. The gite is ideally located in Manzac sur Vern, close to Périgueux, Saint-Astier, Neuvic, and the Isle valley.
Hiking, cycling, gourmet markets, canoeing, medieval heritage, caves, and Dordogne lakes are all within easy reach. Saint-Astier train station is about 10 minutes away, Périgueux 20 minutes, quick access via the A89 (Bordeaux – Brive), and Bergerac airport is about 45 minutes away.

Sans oublier Claire et son mari, vraiment au petit soin avec nous, tout en restant discrets.
