La Castellana is a recently renovated, welcoming accommodation in the heart of Monte Sant’Angelo, just steps from the Norman-Swabian Castle and the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo.
Despite its central location near the main attractions, the area is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle—perfect for those who want to experience the village comfortably while enjoying tranquility. Free parking is available right in front of the apartment entrance, and we do our best to reserve a spot for you upon arrival so you can settle in without stress. The space combines the charm of ancient stone arches with modern comforts.
Inside, you’ll find an open, comfortable area with a double bed and a single bed, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, utensils), a new bathroom with shower, free Wi-Fi, TV, and carefully chosen furnishings.
The atmosphere is intimate and warm, ideal for a relaxing stay. Step outside and you can walk to everything Monte Sant’Angelo offers: historic white alleys, local shops, traditional restaurants, panoramic squares, ancient churches, and the unique cultural treasures of the Gargano.
The location is also ideal for exploring the surroundings, from Bosco Quarto to the Umbra Forest, the bays of Gargano, boat trips, and the traditional food and wine events that enliven the village throughout the year. La Castellana is the perfect choice if you want a comfortable, well-kept place close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful—a perfect retreat in the authentic heart of Monte Sant’Angelo.

The room was lovely, it was very clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, very close to walk to many of the beautiful attractions. The host Nicola was great to communicate with. He replied promptly to our communications and he was always very kind. We would definitely be happy to stay there again!!!
