The location is very convenient for those who likes to stay in town! Also, a car is not necessary since town offers all services need as well as taxi stop, however those clients wish to arrive by car, it is possible to reserve, for a daily fee of 20 EUR, a private parking lot, roughly 800 meters away from the house. (Parking is only possible in paid parking areas).
The apartment features a wonderful wide terrace of about 50 sqm. facing the beautiful Moorish bell-tower and the sea behind it! The terrace is equipped with table chairs and sun lounge, external shower, perfect spot for enjoy meals or rest under the sun!
On its interior, the apartment measure about 80 sqm, and develops in two floor, recently renovated keeping the traditional charm of the Costiera houses.
Located on the second floor with no lift, entrance to a living room with sofas, arm chairs tea table and Sat.
TV, and access to the terrace. From the living, there is access to the fully equipped kitchen, (electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and dining table for 6.
Laundry area with washing machine, and one bathroom with shower. 12 steps take to the first floor with 2 bedrooms one is double and one is single, one bathroom with shower. Access: The house is reached on foot from the main town square, walking through the narrow public walkway that includes approximately 100 stairway steps.
The building has no elevator. Distances: In town Amalfi al services; Ravello 5 Km, Sorrento 35 Km, Salerno 27 Km, Positano 22 Km, Naples airport 60 Km, Rome Fiumicino 320Km From April until end of October, ferries and hydrofoils ply daily from Amalfi to Capri (1½ h.), Positano (20 min.), Naples (2 h.) Sorrento (1 ½ h) Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.) Important information: Check in: from 14:00 Check out: by 10:00 A refundable security deposit of € 300 will be required upon arrival and it will be returned upon departure less any charges in case of damage to the property. Extra cost to paid locally: Final cleaning Euro 100,00 Tourist tax Euro payable locally in cash is 3,00 EUR per person per night (children under 12 years of age are exempt) Private parking, if requested in advance, is available at the edge of the town ( 30/40 euro per day, valet service included) Services: English speaking manager on call. Right in the center of the beautiful town of Amalfi, just 50 meters from the Piazza del Duomo where is the Cathedral! All services needed are within walking distance, such as bar, restaurants, shops, supermarket etc. very close is also the Bus stop SITA, and the port with the ferries takes to Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, and Salerno.

Nice size home with a beautiful terrace right in the middle of everything in Amalfi. Antionetta met us right in the middle of town, had porters waiting to take out luggage, and a person to park the car for me. (these were all additional costs, but well worth it!) We had a whole group over to drink wine and enjoy the terrace and the views. Wonderful!

So close to everything in town, but above the crowds. Great set up with 2 floors and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you need. Easy to take the back streets to shops higher up in Amalfi. As per other other reviews, living room furniture does not encourage lounging, so we mostly hung out in the bedrooms. Lovely cute decor.
