The "Apremont" gîte is located in the heart of this village, known as the birthplace of Impressionist painters.

Denise, your host, welcomes you to this charming gîte located on the main street of Barbizon, where shops and art studios stand side by side.
The gîte is on one level, with a small step at the entrance.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living/dining room is cozy with a sofa, a TV, and a dining area with a decorative fireplace.
The large bedroom has two single beds (90x200 cm) that can be made into a king-size bed (180x200 cm).
There is a shower room, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, and a separate toilet.
On sunny days, you can enjoy the typical Brie courtyard with its covered area, garden furniture, and fish pond.
In short, if you are an art lover, or simply a lover of art, this gîte is perfect for you! Parking available in the courtyard - Electric vehicle charging point (Green'up 3kW) in the courtyard.

Maison très confortable, particulierement quand il fait chaud car elle est fraiche. Elle dispose d un petit jardin fort agréable .Elle est tres bien située, tout près des commerces et de la forêt et est très bien equipée.La proprietaire laisse à disposition tout le necessaire pour un bon séjour.

We were surprised by this warm welcome by Denise in her lovely gite with everyting you need, with a typically french and historic atmosphere and a lot of privacy including a terrace and garden.We loved the natural environment and gems of small museums. We are looking forward to return!
Cozy appartment with a lovely front garden

We loved the front garden of the appartment with roses and a pond with fish. Situated on the main street but quiet with easy to access groceries and restaurants. The owner was super friendly and gave us a tour in the museum. We really enjoyed our 2-week-stay and hopefully will come back next year.
