Here, millions of starlings gather, creating spectacular aerial formations in both spring and autumn.

Both the towns of Tønder and Ribe (Denmark's oldest town) have much to offer.

You'll find a wealth of holiday activities here, from picturesque old houses and shopping opportunities to museums and excellent culinary experiences.

If you fancy a day at the beach, take a drive across the causeway to Rømø to enjoy the wide sandy beaches, particularly famous for their annual kite festival.
