Just behind the church, between the village and the forest, the old Gasthof 'Botenwirt' has given way to the new Botenwirt. Stylish and modern, the building houses 16 apartments. Your holiday apartment is on the ground floor at the side of the building. With the gently murmuring stream in the background, you can enjoy the afternoon sun on the terrace until it sets
The original idea of a Gasthof has been preserved. In the ground-floor restaurant, you can enjoy a real Austrian meal after an active day in the mountains. Or take a moment to use the sauna to unwind your muscles. The fully equipped apartment has everything you need for a carefree stay. Hinterhal is in the middle of the medium-sized ski area, Hochkönig. From 1000 metres above sea level, you step straight into the lift from the village. It's located in a central location with all restaurants in Hinterthal within walking distance. The village has a playground for children with an artificial turf football pitch. Because of its location, high in the mountains, you are in beautiful nature with many hiking and climbing trails within a few minutes. The Hochkönig ski area is part of the immense ski region Ski Amadé with 120 kilometres of slopes! Ski like a king over the white and beautifully groomed slopes here. You will find numerous mountain huts serving delicious regional and international cuisine! In summer, this area is a true hiking paradise. Some 340 kilometres of hiking trails lie at your feet. Take a refreshing dip in one of the crystal-clear mountain lakes and enjoy the Austrian sunshine


Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine.
Hochkönig Sommerkarte is included with stay from May to October.
