The excellent location of the cottage makes it the perfect choice for a family get away.
With beautiful views in all directions and away from any trafic, noise and light pollution (which is perfect for northern lights), the only thing you will hear is the river running down the mountain.
It is located only 3 kilometres from Seljalandsfoss waterfall and 4 km from the road N°1.
It is the perfect base to visit all the main highlights of the south coast (Golden circle, black sand beach, Dyrhólaey, Vik, glacier lagoon...) This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home.
As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a freezer and a microwave.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and hi-speed internet access (wifi) There is one bedroom in this cottage which contains a double bed.
The additional sleeping space is a double sofa bed (you can close it off with curtains).
The bathroom has a washing machine and walk-in shower.
Linen and towels are included.
House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are on-site parking facilities available at the property. - A washing machine is included for your use. - Pets are not allowed at the property.
