The Granary is a lovely single-storey cottage in the grounds of Swallow Hall Golf Club, just outside York. With two bedrooms, a double and a twin, it sleeps four people comfortably. The cottage also has a bathroom, and an open plan living area with a kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area. Outside, there is free use of a tennis court, and subsidised golf, as well as ample parking. The Granary is only a short drive from York, and makes a great base for touring the area. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Location was perfect,with having a dog,walks from cottage into local woods were on the doorstep,very friendly owners ,and helpful, as television went off through a power cut and they immediately sorted out the problem, we did find the internet a bit of a problem because of location, beds very comfortable,will certainly be looking at booking again.

We loved our stay at The Granary. For 2 adults and 2 children the accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. We liked having both the breakfast bar and dining table to sit at so we could play board games! Beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent. The location was perfect for using the park and ride to explore York.

Absolutely great place to relax and have peaceful break away.
Ideal if want quiet and tranquility but nothing for children.
Have to travel quite a distance to find a pub.
Ideally situated to visit most of York.
We will definitely be returning.
