This three bedroom modern cottage is situated on the popular Whitbarrow Holiday Park near Greystoke offering quality accommodation for families and friends, only a few minutes' drive from Ullswater.
The accommodation is laid out in an upside down layout with the three comfortable bedrooms (one with en-suite) being located on the ground floor, along with the family bathroom.
Upstairs is the well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with space for everyone to relax after a busy day of adventure. Situated in the foothills of Blencathra Fell, Whitbarow Village has plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Originally converted from an 18th century Cumbrian farm, the village offers guests a good range of facilities including use of a heated indoor swimming pool, children's splash pool, sauna and gym. The village grounds are also home to a crazy golf course, putting green and giant outdoor draughts/ chessboard, as well as a children's adventure centre ensuring you'll have plenty to do whatever the weather. There's even a holistic therapy room if you need a little pampering.
The park reception also provides DVD rental as well as an internet station.
If you can tear yourselves away the historic town of Penrith is a short drive away and even Lake Windermere is less than a half hour drive or pop dowmn to Ullswater one of the Lake District's most romantic lakes.

Whitbarrow Holiday Village Troutbeck 5 is a modern cottage located near the village of Greystoke in the Lake District. Boasting 3 bedrooms comprising of a double bedroom ensuite, twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom, there is also a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to 6 people. The cottage also contains a kitchen with a dining area and a patio. The cottage has parking nearby in a designated parking area. Ideal for family and friends to stay in the Lakes and make use of the complimentary leisure facility that this holiday village has to offer.

We really enjoyed our stay in Troutbeck 5 at Whitbarrow Village. Property was welcoming & very clean upon arrival and equipped with all we needed during our 1 week stay.
Only disappointment I feel necessary to mention in my honest review is that the double bed was rather uncomfortable/ hard. However this would not put us off returning to the property in the future.

We thought Whitbarrow Village was great. The accommodation was just what we needed, simple but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
It would have been nice to have had a list of things the accommodation came with like towels, hairdryers etc, as we couldn’t find out what it had. We brought all our own towels for drying and swimming and it was all provided, so didn’t need to.
