Lovely dependance in the heart of Crete Senesi.
In the outskirts of the village of Asciano, situated in the heart of the famous 'Crete Senesi' and placed in a sunny and panoramic position, we find the small house PIEVE DI SANT'IPPOLITO.
The property is composed by a manor house, where the owner family live, an annex available for our guests, and a really ancient church the 'Pieve di Sant'Ippolito' which origins date back to the 4th Century AC.
Above the church altar there is a large fresco ascribed to the painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti of Siena, with distinct landmarks of the Umbrian school of the renowned Pinturicchio and Raffaello.
On the 13th of August, in the anniversary of St.
Ippolito in the church is celebrated mass. Equipped garden and wide swimming pool.
All around the buildings a wide garden equipped with table and chairs to eat 'al fresco' and a beautiful swimming pool (size m. 13x8, depth m. 1,20-2,10, somewhat round, with waterfall and a three seats whirlpool bath), to be shared sometimes with the owners, will be at your disposal during the whole year. A comfortable and relaxing holiday.
The refined furnishing and the large equipment of the house (satellite TV, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, dish washer, iron, mosquito nets, burglar alarm and Internet access) will guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday.
Possibility to rent mountain bikes.
Moreover, respecting the need of energy saving, the house is endowed with solar panels.
The village of Asciano, with shops, restaurant and all kind of facilities, can be easily reached through a nice pedestrian path.

The pool is absolutely amazing and the amount of outdoor space is more than anyone could want. Linda and her family were wonderful hosts, being around if and when needed but not imposing in any way. A lovely welcome hamper was left with local produce in and Linda gave us a beautiful farewell gift upon checkout. A car is definitely needed when staying here as it is quite remote.
We were not aware before hand that air conditioning was to paid as an extra. This cost us €104 for the one week stay, so wasn’t the end of the world. The sofas in the lounge area only seat 3 people which in a villa that sleeps 4 can be tricky. It meant we had to take it in turns to sit on a hard dining chair when wanting to chill out in front of the TV in an evening.
