The house “Casa Bela Vista” (House with a Beautiful View) is above Pedreira/Nordeste facing east, with a fabulous view of the locality and the sea.

Two houses about 150 years old, built with volcanic stone, have been converted into one new, very light and airy building. The space between the two old houses is now the living and dining room and the two houses are the bedrooms. The interior of this holiday accommodation leaves nothing to be desired. The living room flooded with light has a Scandinavian wood stove, a stereo system with many CDs, Blue Tooth for Smartphone connections and free wireless Internet access. The kitchen integrated into the living room is equipped with all modern appliances, including a dishwasher. There are also a dining table with six chairs and a sofa. There are two bedrooms with real duvets (unknown on the Azores), for a healthy and good night’s sleep. The first bedroom has on bed measuring 140 x 190cm and the second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 190cm). The bathroom with a WC and a built-in bath is spacious, as well as light and airy, owing to the veranda door and two windows.

A 40m² L-shaped, roofed veranda, which cannot be looked into, allows you to “sit outdoors” in almost any weather. This house is an ideal starting point for hikers.

It is about five kilometres to the sandy beach. The nearest shopping facilities are just over a kilometre away.
